 Dalla costante ricerca della qualità e della cura artigianale è nata la nuova linea “Tarsíe”.

Le pedane delle bilance vengono realizzate in “cotto policromo intarsiato”, lavorazione che permette di creare oggetti e decori tramite la tecnica dell’intarsio, utilizzando terre colorate in massa.

Ogni singolo pezzo, perciò, risulta formato da tante “tarsíe” di diversi colori e forme, assemblate per formare un oggetto o un decoro.

La resistenza e robustezza dei pezzi è garantita dal fatto che la saldatura tra le diverse tarsíe, non è ottenuta mediante collanti, ma per fusione, durante la cottura ad alte temperature.

I decori così ottenuti, risultano indelebili, resistenti all’usura e alla levigatura, in quanto le tarsíe che li compongono possiedono uno spessore.

Dopo la cottura, ogni singolo pezzo viene levigato a mano per conferire alla superficie dell’oggetto, il tipico aspetto ad un tempo materico e raffinato.

Infine i pezzi vengono impermeabilizzati, trattati con cere naturali e lucidati.

The new line “Tarsíe” has come about from constant research into quality and craft smanlike care.

The platform of the scale is realized in “inlaid polychrome terracotta” that consists of creating objects or decorations by means of the inlay technique, using mas -coloured clays.

Each individual piece, therefore, results as formed of many “inlays” of different colour  and shapes , assembled to form an object or a decoration.

The resistance and robustnes of the pieces is guaranteed by the fact that the soldering bet ween the various inlays is not obtained using adhes ives , but by fusion, during baking at high temperatures .

Decorations obtained in this way prove to be indelible, resistant to wear and tear and smoothing, insofar as the inlays which make them up have a certain thickness .

After baking, each individual piece is smoot hed by hand to give the surface of the object the typical appearance of being material and refined at the same time.

Finally the pieces are waterproof ed, treated with natural waxes and polished.
